Mattinata is an small  beautiful town in Puglia in the middle of the heart from the National Park of the Gargano, where are living the culture and tradition ( as evidenced by the necropolis of Monte Saraceno and especially the Roman remains of the original Matinum ) and coastal landscapes of out standing and unmistakalbe beauty which annually attract thousand of tourists: mediterranean stain, from the limpid sea, sea caves which the most varied form, coast carved in the stone karst, architiello natural and everything which you want from an coastal location can find in this beautiful area from the Gargano. At the foot of the complex ( location in Agnuli) there are archaeological remains o fan urban Roman, consisting mainly of patrician villas, dating from the first and fourth- fifth century D.C.

Located on the coast of the Gargano Promontory, for the quality of its bathing water Mattinata was repeatedly awarded the Blue Flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education

Located within the National Park of Gargano, Mattinata lies in an green valley of olive trees surrounded from the sea and woods.

The strech of sea which goes from Mattinata to Viste is renowned for the white cliffs, for stacks and for its gorges and caves some of which are still not fully explored.
In this territory can be traced 61 species of orchids, some of which are growing exclusivley in this area, which are an attraction for fans and students of botany.
